Case study · Website redevelopment

Modernising the patient journey for a new generation of Willerby Dental

Willerby Dental was moving into a new generation of family ownership. Its established reputation remained important, but the website no longer represented the quality, warmth or direction of the practice. Veda Software translated that next chapter into a clearer digital proposition and delivered the website around it.

01

A trusted practice entering a new chapter

A change in ownership created a clear moment for Willerby Dental to reconsider how the practice presented itself. The strength of the existing family practice needed to carry forward, while the digital experience had to express the ambitions of its next generation.

The brief was therefore larger than a visual refresh. The public-facing journey needed to feel modern and personal without losing the local trust the practice had built over time.

02

The old website no longer matched the standard of care

The previous online presence did not give prospective patients a clear sense of the clinical experience, the people behind the practice or the support available to somebody who felt nervous about treatment.

Common actions also needed a more direct route. Treatment information, getting in touch and arranging a consultation had to be easy to understand without making visitors work through an internal catalogue of services.

03

Structure followed patient intent

Veda Software reorganised the experience around the questions and concerns that bring a patient to the site. Navigation and content lead from an individual need towards relevant information, reassurance and a practical next step.

This made the website an extension of the patient journey rather than a digital brochure. The information architecture supports decision-making before a visitor contacts the practice.

  • Patient-first journeysclear routes from a concern or goal to useful information and the next action
  • Straightforward contactconsultation and enquiry routes kept visible throughout the experience
  • Accessible informationtreatment content organised for patients rather than internal terminology

04

Reassurance became part of the interface

For nervous and first-time patients, tone and presentation matter as much as navigation. The design gives the team, the practice and its community context enough space to establish trust before asking somebody to take action.

Support for nervous patients and remote consultation options are visible parts of the journey, not details buried beneath treatment pages.

05

Positioning, content and delivery moved together

The website was built as one expression of the practice's updated position. Structure, content, photography and interface decisions work together so the experience feels coherent from the first visit through to contact.

Veda Software delivered the responsive site and the booking and payment routes around that experience, giving the practice a practical digital front door rather than a disconnected set of pages.

  • Responsive websitethe patient journey remains clear across desktop and mobile devices
  • Booking and paymentspractical patient actions connected to the wider website experience
  • Content-led deliverythe practice's people, support and local character made visible online

06

A live platform for the practice's next generation

The completed website now reflects the practice's more personal, modern and community-rooted proposition. Patients can understand the offer, see the people behind it and move towards a consultation through a clearer route.

The published proof is the live change in positioning and experience. No enquiry, conversion or commercial-performance figures are claimed.

What this proves

Digital change works when the proposition and the software move together

Willerby Dental shows Veda Software joining positioning, information architecture, content and responsive delivery into one public experience without erasing the trust already attached to the practice.

  • A generational transition expressed through a clear digital proposition
  • Patient intent used to shape structure and content
  • Trust and reassurance carried through the interface
  • A live website delivered for the practice's next stage

Does your website still reflect the business you have become?

If the organisation has moved on but its digital experience has not, we can turn the new proposition and customer journey into a website designed and delivered as one coherent system.
